I had ordered 2 of these to use as small serving platters, but did not realize how small they really are. It will still work for serving some things, like sausages, hot dogs, crackers, fudge or other desserts, etc. But I think its main use will be to use as an eating dish. It is the perfect size and shape for omelettes, fajitas, burritos, nachos, sausages, etc. I love this platter--it has high sides on it and it is a fun dish to use for eating!

After reading the reviews here, I was a bit hesitant about buying these. I was afraid they would be too small. I was looking for some nice smaller size plates to use for everyday meals. Well, these are absolutely perfect. We use them for breakfsst, lunch and dinner everyday. They are the perfect size to fit an entree and 2 side dishes, or a sandwich and salad. They are also really great to use as pasta dishes, they are just deep enough to hold the sauce and a decent portion of pasta. I also really love the colors, I now have 10 of these in 5 different colors and they go together beautifully. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I started buying fiesta over Christmas and haven't been able to stop. I've fallen in love with the look and have been collecting many of the pieces. This platter seemed rather small to me. But I agree that it's a perfect size for serving small portions. I don't think it's one of the must have pieces. But for the price at which I bought it ($10) it was worth it. I don't think I would have been happy had I paid more than that discounted price because it is rather small. Overall, I love having matching pieces for the dish set I bought. All of my pieces are sunflower with the only exception being two large coffee mugs in cobalt which are also very beautiful. I just wonder if too many cobalt pieces would be too dark for a table. So I keep those mugs separate just for coffee. The sunflower is beautiful and having many pieces out at once in the same color is not a dizzying as I imagine combining colors would be for me. (They are very bright colors!)
