I bought these headphones back in April of this year (2011). The headphones are amazing and the best wireless headphones w/ mic I have used. As others have noted, the range doesn't appear to be as far as advertised; however, I live in an old British house made of stone (probably lead paint still on the walls) and I have no issue using these in any room to include my upstairs bedroom. The charge has never bothered me, for my tower sits on top of my desk right next to me and the cord is of sufficient length in this case. They are very comfortable and I have worn them for an extended time (up to 12 hours) without discomfort.

After using these for 7 months, I have noticed no degradation in sound quality or battery charge. What I have experienced is the small plastic pieces around the joints where the ear pads oscillate breaking. When the left side first broke about a month ago, super glue sufficed to fix it. When the right side broke, I had to create a splint from a piece a plastic and duct tape. Now the left side has broken again, except in the same location the right side broke. It appears the stress of lots of use is too much.

There aren't a lot of good wireless headsets out there, so I may give these another shot, but won't until I shop around thoroughly.

I've used several different types of headsets, wireless and wired. My Plantronics wireless headset has developed a short in the mic, so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, which is the reason I was searching for another wireless headset. I found the Scosche and read the reviews and decided to try it.
Pros:
It's much smaller than the Plantronics I am using and lighter weight.
It is foldable and portable and has a carrying case, so is great for using with my laptop when I travel.
Sound quality is super.
The fit is good, albeit a little too tight right now.
It charges quickly.
You can use it while it is charging.
I am a gamer and use Skype extensively and couldn't ask for better sound quality.
Setup and connection are quick and easy. I use a desktop with Windows XP and a laptop with Windows 7 and have not had any trouble with either OS and this headset.
It seems very well constructed.


Cons:
It fits very snug right now. I'm hoping it will loosen up as it continues to be used. I am currently "stretching/loosening" it by putting it over the computer tower.
The battery charge only lasts about 4 hours, but you can use it while it is charging, which is a plus.

I usually read all the reviews I can find about a product before I buy it, but in this case, I simply couldn't find any reviews, anywhere. So I broke a long-standing personal rule and bought it anyway, since the price was exactly what I had been wishing for. I've not had it 24 hours yet, and I'm hoping to update this review later on, but so far I have to say I'm quite impressed. The quality of the item is what L***tech and others used to be known for, but are no longer. And not just the materials are excellent but the design of the headset is everything I could have hoped for. I will have to get used to having a headset that actually goes over my head again, rather than behind it somewhere, but that's alright. The headband itself is adjustable, as is each earpiece, independently, no less. The Mic is flexible, without feeling as though it will fall apart or break off any minute. All of this fits neatly into a round zippered case that's soft inside, yet molded stiff enough to be at least somewhat protective, as well as appearing tough enough to handle one of my 10-20lb cats sitting or walking on it when I'm not looking. The charger wire is attached to the inside of the case with a Velcro piece, and there is a second piece which would hold the USB dongle that comes with the set.

I have windows 7, 64 bit on my deaktop and I had no problems with the installation, nor with charging the set. Once the other headset was removed physically from the computer, I simply plugged the USB dongle in while the computer was on, pushed the power button on the headset and it was on and linked. Configuring it for Skype and Windows was more like double-checking connections and the set-up options for both, but it's not worth skipping either one. I'd have ended up there anyway, since I found as I checked the Windows settings that the headset's mic was muted starting out. Don't know if that was the headset or windows, nor does it matter, since it was easily turned back on.

A sample call over Skype went through crystal clear, so I don't expect any problems there or using it for gaming. If its performance over time is equal to the quality it shows now in how it was designed and made, I will be quite happy, and looking for a second one for backup, since the charge lasts for about 4.5 to 6 hours, supposedly.
