The bottom of these Pans and similar ones..With Encapsulated Base--where you see the separation Ring/circle in the bottom, WILL COME APART under extreme heat-like leave the boiling water and come back to dried pan cracking/separating bottom! Nice if you will not be using high heat for a long time...I lost 3 sauce pans from 3
different manufactures. Yet, My revere 18/10 ware set does not have that ring and over 30 years of service!

I bought this coffee/espresso maker 6 months ago as I liked the style- today it doesn't make coffee! I read other reviews and it appears there are A LOT of problems with this product. I called customer service and they are willing to repair or replace it if I ship it back- approx. $20.00. I refuse to "throw good money after bad" and why would I want another one that doesn't have a good track record? I just plugged my 1994 Krups coffee/espresso machine back in- still works great!! I think I'll use the $20.00 toward another Krups... when I need one.

All in all, a waste of time and money!

SO...I was impressed when I first bought this machine. For the money, the espresso side was a very good machine. The coffee maker was good enough, and I'm a big latte fan, and former coffee-house worker, so to be able to make a good latte at home was wonderful. Well...fast-forward 7 months. The coffee maker heating element is dead, so I can't brew coffee any longer. What I'm left with now is a very large, rarely used espresso machine taking up valuable counter space. Do yourself a favor, and spend the money on separate machines for coffee and espresso. DON'T BUY!

This machine just died on me recently. While it lasted it was GREAT! I should also point out that 2 yrs ago when I purchased it, it had one of the highest reviews, which is why I purchased it to begin with. Loved the look of it. Simple, easy to to use and good coffee and espresso. The only thing that seemed to repeatedly go wrong with it was that it would overflow/back up and then you'd have coffee all over the place. I think this was finally the culprit and why it died. It must have gotten wet, one too many times on the underside and I'm assuming that's why it just plain 'ol died one day. Too bad! Now, it's trying to find another that will make both coffee and espresso. My options are bleak.

My wife got me this peppermill for Christmas. I am very pleased with it for three reasons. It has a much larger storage capacity (and wider opening) than our last mill. This means I don't have to fill it nearly as often as I used to and I don't spill nearly as many peppercorns on the countertop. There's still some hoppers, but that's my clumsy fault more than anything. Also, I really like the locking grind adjustment. You can set it from very coarse to powder fine and it doesn't budge over time. Finally, as someone who is in the solid cherry furniture making business, I appreciate the beauty of the wood. Cherry is a hallmark of quality and this peppermill is no exception. The fact that it was Made in the USA was a big added bonus for me as well.

A wire around the spark plug wire of the engine provides both a tachometer signal an indicator that the engine is running. T-Motorsports HOURMETER-RL-HM011 Review by NoNovice

Just a word of caution for buyers looking for an hour meter that has a replaceable battery: this one may not be the ticket, even if it's advertised as having a replaceable battery.

The back cover doesn't appear designed to be removed, and the accompanying instructions make no mention of replacing the battery. I was advised by the seller to wedge the cover off, which I did, but while doing so my leverage slipped and I damaged the circuit board inside. My mistake, so I ate the cost (of course).

The problem with so many of these meters is that, sure, they last for "35,000 hours," but that's not even four years. For many generator owners, for example, the meter will stop working long before the generator. It'd be nice to have a small, electronic hour meter that will last as long as the generator. Want the bad news? You're simply not going to find one; go mechanical.

Even with the back cover off, it was plain to see that the battery isn't meant to be replaced. It's held in place by a clip, but it has "goo" all over it, just to make sure it stays there. A gal could carve that stuff off of there, but it's pretty tight quarters and, well, she too may end up with a damaged circuit board.

I never got the meter installed, so I can't testify to its workability. Other reviews seem positive, so I gave it three stars rather than fewer.

I bought two of these for my twin-engine boat. The hour meter portion works fine, but the tachometer is unreliable and continually jumps between accurate and random readings. I've re-connected them multiple times, carefully following the instructions, and they just don't work right. But again, it's a good hour meter that is easy to read.

Having bought a cheapo Radio Shack Iron, this one came as a realif. Very easy to use and a nice temperature setting. The only downside to this item is the socket that connects the iron to the soldering station, it is very cheap, loose and looks it would break easily.

I have used this iron for multiple projects and find it to do a fantastic job. The digital temperature is really handy. I do recommend you get a smaller tip if you plan to do surface mount work though. The tip provided is of the 'screwdriver' variety, and can be somewhat clunky at times.

Large saucepot which easily handled every recipe I put to it. I chose it because it was reccomended by America's Test Kitchens and it certainly lived up to my expectations.

I have an allclad 6 quart saucepan that I bought a number of years ago for $140 ($160 now). This pan is just as good as the Allclad at a little more than 1/3 the price. Two things to keep in mind are that to actually clean the interior after use, you will eventually have to use barkeeper's friend - but on the INSIDE only. Cleaning with detergent just doesn't remove all the residue. And second, the exterior is susceptible to scratches. Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely.

I don't currently have a pet but there are plenty of animals in the area so I was interested from that aspect. But this stuff can be spread with your bare hands with no drying or cracking you would get with most of the salts out there. And that was very helpful when my toddler liked to "help" me. I didn't have to worry about him sticking his hands in the bucket while I was working with it.

And not too long ago we had a stretch of snow storms one after another after another. I started to notice that even when it started as rain and turns to snow which usually means a layer of ice under the snow, using Safe Paws was making that layer of ice softer and easier to take up.

I bought these headphones back in April of this year (2011). The headphones are amazing and the best wireless headphones w/ mic I have used. As others have noted, the range doesn't appear to be as far as advertised; however, I live in an old British house made of stone (probably lead paint still on the walls) and I have no issue using these in any room to include my upstairs bedroom. The charge has never bothered me, for my tower sits on top of my desk right next to me and the cord is of sufficient length in this case. They are very comfortable and I have worn them for an extended time (up to 12 hours) without discomfort.

After using these for 7 months, I have noticed no degradation in sound quality or battery charge. What I have experienced is the small plastic pieces around the joints where the ear pads oscillate breaking. When the left side first broke about a month ago, super glue sufficed to fix it. When the right side broke, I had to create a splint from a piece a plastic and duct tape. Now the left side has broken again, except in the same location the right side broke. It appears the stress of lots of use is too much.

There aren't a lot of good wireless headsets out there, so I may give these another shot, but won't until I shop around thoroughly.

I've used several different types of headsets, wireless and wired. My Plantronics wireless headset has developed a short in the mic, so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, which is the reason I was searching for another wireless headset. I found the Scosche and read the reviews and decided to try it.
Pros:
It's much smaller than the Plantronics I am using and lighter weight.
It is foldable and portable and has a carrying case, so is great for using with my laptop when I travel.
Sound quality is super.
The fit is good, albeit a little too tight right now.
It charges quickly.
You can use it while it is charging.
I am a gamer and use Skype extensively and couldn't ask for better sound quality.
Setup and connection are quick and easy. I use a desktop with Windows XP and a laptop with Windows 7 and have not had any trouble with either OS and this headset.
It seems very well constructed.


Cons:
It fits very snug right now. I'm hoping it will loosen up as it continues to be used. I am currently "stretching/loosening" it by putting it over the computer tower.
The battery charge only lasts about 4 hours, but you can use it while it is charging, which is a plus.

I usually read all the reviews I can find about a product before I buy it, but in this case, I simply couldn't find any reviews, anywhere. So I broke a long-standing personal rule and bought it anyway, since the price was exactly what I had been wishing for. I've not had it 24 hours yet, and I'm hoping to update this review later on, but so far I have to say I'm quite impressed. The quality of the item is what L***tech and others used to be known for, but are no longer. And not just the materials are excellent but the design of the headset is everything I could have hoped for. I will have to get used to having a headset that actually goes over my head again, rather than behind it somewhere, but that's alright. The headband itself is adjustable, as is each earpiece, independently, no less. The Mic is flexible, without feeling as though it will fall apart or break off any minute. All of this fits neatly into a round zippered case that's soft inside, yet molded stiff enough to be at least somewhat protective, as well as appearing tough enough to handle one of my 10-20lb cats sitting or walking on it when I'm not looking. The charger wire is attached to the inside of the case with a Velcro piece, and there is a second piece which would hold the USB dongle that comes with the set.

I have windows 7, 64 bit on my deaktop and I had no problems with the installation, nor with charging the set. Once the other headset was removed physically from the computer, I simply plugged the USB dongle in while the computer was on, pushed the power button on the headset and it was on and linked. Configuring it for Skype and Windows was more like double-checking connections and the set-up options for both, but it's not worth skipping either one. I'd have ended up there anyway, since I found as I checked the Windows settings that the headset's mic was muted starting out. Don't know if that was the headset or windows, nor does it matter, since it was easily turned back on.

A sample call over Skype went through crystal clear, so I don't expect any problems there or using it for gaming. If its performance over time is equal to the quality it shows now in how it was designed and made, I will be quite happy, and looking for a second one for backup, since the charge lasts for about 4.5 to 6 hours, supposedly. We took this stroller on vacation to Yosemite and San Francisco. It's a very basic stroller but the kids seem comfortable and I like the 5-point harness. Our stroller made the trek down some tough trails and performed beautifully. It's a great value and I would definitely recommend this to someone else.

I had purchased this after doing a Lot of comparing and researching online. This one had every thing I was looking for such as individual reclining seats, storage compartments for toys or my cell phone and keys etc (there are bags attached to the back of each seat), two handles not 3 which I don't know why strollers ever had 3 handles when most humans only have 2 arms, little shades for the kiddies, and it is compact so it will not take up my entire trunk. I had an instep double jogging stroller prior to this and it was massive - I have an SUV and it took up the entire trunk so I really did not want something like that either. The jogging stroller was a Much smoother ride and seemed very light weight to push which was great but to lift it into the house or car it was very heavy.
This stroller is great on smooth surfaces, not so great on gravel or sand etc. It is light weight and my kids seem comfy. It is a nice ride and easy to push but you feel the weight of the kids and stroller while walking.
It was super easy to assemble just had to snap on the wheels.
Overall I give it 4 stars, it will definitely fit through doorways and is great for the mall or stuff like that. I would not recommend it for hikes or jogging of course or anything where your not on smooth ground. I love it, wish they had more color options as I have girls but it works.
